Reid brings to his marketing and branding work insights and expertise gained from his experience with companies from startups to Wells Fargo Bank.
An honors graduate of U.C. Berkeley, Reid has been part of the early core team in two venture-backed startups, as well as the first product marketing manager at Autodesk. More recently, he was cofounder and Chief Marketing Officer of the Internet correspondence service, LetterClick.
With Web sites and Internet marketing so important to most companies today, Reid's software and Internet experience are extremely valuable. Reid Neubert + Friends serves clients across industries, both B2B and B2C. "I find that having a diverse array of clients keeps our work fresher than if we specialized in any one industry," he says.
Reid has served as an expert witness on branding, and given talks on marketing, branding and Web site development. From 1999 to 2003, he was a judge for the NBMA's annual Web site design competition.
Articles Reid has written have appeared in publications including Progressive Architecture and the San Francisco Examiner. From 1994 through 1997, he wrote a popular technology column for the Pacific Sun, a Bay Area newsweekly. Previously he wrote a column for The Typographer.
In 2007, Reid also founded the Council of Business Advisors, a San Francisco Bay Area organization of experience professionals who work as trusted advisors to business owners and executives, which he heads.
