Case Study – New Messaging & Brochure

Background Geoflow is a worldwide leader in subsurface drip irrigation systems. Subsurface drip can be used both for irrigation and for wastewater dispersal. While the technology has distinct advantages as a wastewater solution, it is still working to make in-roads into that market.

The company realized that their old brochure, seen here, wasn't doing the job for them. They called on us to rewrite and redesign it so that it would better engage their target audiences and better communicate the advantages of subsurface drip for wastewater dispersal.

Solution Rather than just talk about the technology and show the typical pictures of installations, we wanted to demonstrate key advantages in a way everyone could relate to.

The happy dog we used on the new brochure cover makes an important point on an emotional level. No one would want to see their dog rolling around in a field that is surface-watered with wastewater, a common practice. But when the wastewater is dispersed underground, the grass remains clean and usable.

 


Inside, the text, photos and diagrams provide a summary of the technology, its benefits, and how it works in a simple, straight-forward manner. Three testimonials are included along with photos from several installations.

Completed in time for an industry tradeshow, the client reported a fantastic response to the new approach.
